GO BLOG GO!!

Ya ya! I found out that my friends are actually reading this! Woo hoo! (im a blog rookie what can i say)

And it's Friday! Working 8 hours a day is tiring as shit!! but then studying for 14 hours in a computer lab aint all that great either.... But I do have to say I miss school...

Last nite, I went down to kensington market to see Andrew (Emrah's very talented and creative friend who does all these crazy songs - check it out www.songstowearpantsto.com) perform at Super Market (NOT a grocery store it's actually the name of the bar).

AHHH. Looking at the clock and I'll be here for another hour or so...

I need a game of fooz... but I've been on a bad BAD losing streak this whole week. I am now the WORSE girl fooz player... Bila's has improved so much... and I am sadly declining...
That just means I have to play more! but what if no one wants me on their team... that would be SOOO SAD!

NEW BABY!!!

Yesterday my aunt Suzy had a BABY! Her name is Myra and she looks.. well like a newborn baby! This is crazy I can't believe we're getting another family member. That is just sooo cool! I can't wait till she gets bigger and we can all play hunter and cheetah! hahahahaha inside joke for insiders ONLY!

But I did go to the hospital to visit and then went out with my lil cousins and stuff for sushi after. That was really cool cause after living without the 'rents for a while I really started to miss those little things in life... like family dinners (which we used to do like EVERY weekend!) and mahjong and karoake and hunter and cheetah - jess i hope your reading!

afterwards I watched a movie that was recommended to me for a long long time... Requiem for a Dream. I KNEW I would be disturbed afterwards but not as much as I thought. I watched it with my friends Jackie and Shelly. It was about addiction. The scariest story was proabably... well all the characters but I have to say that the old woman who was addicted to diet pills had, by far, the best performance. Friggin scary shit....

Anyhoo, I gotta get back to work. Today has actually been pretty cool. We did this hockey pool thing at work today and got to pick all our players for our team. Me and Bila made up our team together... it was shitty cos we both don't know too much about hockey but we ended up with SOME good players I GUESS... but it was hard too cause every time I wanted to pick one, the guy before me already picked him...

so our team looks like this:
Defense: Brian Leetch, Bryan Berard - he's the charity case for the team, Paul Mara
Forward: Marian Hossa, Robert Lang, Martin Havlat, Brett Hull, Scott Walker, Jason Arnott
Goalie: Toronto's Ed Belfour - had to do it T.O. Style!!

I really don't know a whole lot about hockey but it was so fun doing this!! Now I really am going to have to pay attention to stats and stuff...

Hey my blog was actually really long this time... improvement on my slacking skills! I think so!!!

That word sounds so funny yet for some reason that's all I can think about when I start to write this blog. Why? Well see I have this fear of writing about myself for other people to read AND I'm hella lazy with keeping up a blog so I always feel dread and anxiety when I begin doing this sort of thing. Hey wait - now that I got that out of my system I'm starting to feel somewhat more relaxed.... (knowing really IS half the battle!)

So the reason why I just started compulsively writing this blog knowing that I have a meeting in T minus 6 minutes is that I have been reading some of my friends blogs and found that blogs can actually be a good way to relieve stress and get stuff off your mind and also to note the weird and interesting things that happen so that when you look back, you can laugh at yourself (sounds like good idea?)

Anyways I just wanted to shout out to the world that I AM OFFICIALLY A BLOGGER!!!!!
