I might just be grumpy because I'm at work and it's 2 days till New Years!

Things have been going really well this holiday tho so I can't complain! In fact I will make a list so far of good things that Ive done so that I dont have to be soo annoyed at this work shieet that I have to do...

Asian christmas and why it was awesome:
1) Sheesah
2) a lot of asian food (my first asian dinner that i organized woo hoo!)
3) gift stealin game - bringing out that selfish side after all the 'giving'
4) Queen's people - thanx to all those who came out!! I had a blast! It made me realize that even though we are not all together at school this year, we can still be tight...

Potluck and why I love my highschool crew:
1) They cook good food
2) They are like family to me
3) Tradition - It was our 9th annual potluck! that's almost 10 years baby!!
4) They are horny and perverted!!! ahhh finally REAL people for once!
5) They know me... everything about me.. and still they love me!! :)

Family dinner:
1) Happens every weekend anyways but christmas makes it more special I guess
2) We eat at Mandarin - how asian can you get!?!
3) My cuzins are cute
4) My grandparents are cute

Giftgiving:
1) I get to be creative
2) I get stressed out but then feel good when the gift is finished and I can give it
3) Its nice to think about others - seriously I do DO this sometimes!!
4) People get happier :)

I was having to slowest day at work t'day... normally i am pretty busy but today feels like everyone in the world has moved on.. and im stuck here lost and confuzed... or is that dazed and confuzed.. well i think what made my day so shitty was the fact that my MSN broke down!! yes for some reason it's not allowing me to sign on. Could it be a blessing in disguise? Maybe I was gonna get a virus or sumpthin today?!

Anywase, i started going on Yahoo Chat which I had installed a couple months ago - recommended to me by my U.S. colleagues. It ain't all that bad -'cept I only have 4 contacts!! Moral of the story tho... when your msn breaks down, sign on to the Yahizzy Chizzity and download this video:

Wine and Wolverine

So last nite I was soo tired (and a little tipsy from the red wine I had for dinner). I was about to fall asleep at 10:30pm but decided that it was too early. What I DID do instead was read and LEARN about the origin of Wolverine...

And what an origin indeed!

I actually feel a little enlightened today and somewhat more superior now that I know the story behind the Marvel Comic's most elusive character. Don't ask me why... I've never really been a comic fanatic but for some reason I was really drawn to the story of Wolverine.

Maybe because he lived in Canada.
Maybe because he's my favorite of the X-men.
Maybe because of the wine...

ITS ALMOST CHRISTMASS!!

Well not really! But I'm so excited.. I don't know why in particular- but today I feel extra happy! (maybe its those uppers I've been taking... KIDDIN!) ...

im at work and just chillin out. decided to make sushi for the work potluck...
or maybe i should go with tiramisu cause it's the only thing I can actually make MAKE... Can't decide. :S

Anyway.. thought i might make a shoutout to my highsKEWL girlies! Last weekend was a lot of fun! Elaine, Karen, Ella, Greg and I and some other people whom I don't know the names of, went to Andy Poolhall to get some pool/bar action! hahaha well the only one who got any action was Greg when he tried to argue with the bouncer to get us in to the club. Actually he got NO action cos we ended up not being able to cut through the line and we lost our original spot too.
Then Karen and I met some cool people that did design stuff. That was fun cos we had some decent confersations (yep confersations- like conferencing and conversation cos we were talkin like nerds about work). Elaine had a consolvation (a cross between a consolation and conversation -because the guy was a lame-ass and there was no one else for him to talk to). Well that was our night in a nutshell and THANK YOU GIRLS for a GOOD NITE!

Since my good friend Emrah Kent (now known as Emura Kento) left for Japan recently, I've had a lot of extra time to do the kind of things that only people with extra time can do... such as go onto Vice Magazine and check out the DO's and DON'Ts.

To my surprise I saw a DON'T that was a picture of some kids from A.Y. Jackson!! THAT'S MY HIGHSCHOOL! And the only reason I knew it was referring to the A.Y. Jackson in Toronto and not Ottawa, was cos the comment was something about Math nerds (for those of you who might not be familiar with A.Y., we basically had no sports teams but our Descartes scores?! Dayummm...they were off the charts!! Go figure when 90% of the school is asian)

hahahah but anyway it made my day knowing that the readers and writers of vice can make fun of my highschool the same way i can.

This is my apple hat... drawn by christopher kong himself... I am supposed to be expecting it in the mail anytime now as long as I call California and ask Steve Jobs for a new nano because yesterday my apple headphones ZAPPED me! Literally! I got ZAPPED... but no burn marks or damage has been done to my ears or my head (I hope not anyways). phew!

Word of advice, apple headphones are shitty but this apple hat is adorable!!
