This weekend was pretty fun and not very chines-y despite the fact that it was chinese new year...
It was cool tho cos I got to hang with my queen's girlfriends and some of my emc friends. [NOTE this doesn't happen often enough so I thought I might make a mention of it]

I don't remember much of what happened this whole weekend... I guess after eating like 2 chinese new year dinners in a row and drinking and not sleeping and trying to read what could possibly be the most boring-est work-related material since biochem or orgo I have officially lost my mind to deliriousness.

So because I lack words and for some reason my pics from the previous blog did not show... I will make up for both by showing you some of the pictures from my weekend.

Aahaha I'm talking to my cousin Gordon on MSN and he's all the way in the HK. I think it would be pretty lonely living so far away from the family especially during all the holidays and stuff...

He doesn't know I'm writing this blog in honour of (or out of pity for) him.

You would think that its like super warm here or something but actually the weather is a bit crazy. So are the people here at Documentum... all crazy....

They made us sit in a meeting - pretty much lecture style- where people went on talking and presenting their powerpoints for 8 full hours!!
and I thought 3 hours of databases was tough... ohhh man

but today was the last of these meetings and tommorrow MORE! but fun ones (I hope).

There's a gym in the hotel that I'm staying in. Or rather there's a hotel in the gym I'm staying in. I'll try to get a picture of it but lemme tell ya its UNREAL!
Ball courts, tennis courts, swimming pools, weight machines x 1000, cardio machines x 1000, a ROCK CLIMBING WALL!!, squash, aerobics, spinning... (i'll take a pic its crazy!!)

Well other than the meetings, things in cali have been alrite. Saw my cousin Olive last nite. That was fun. Cept I was soo drunk I passed out even while she was chilling with me and when she left I was barely awake. Tonite I'm gonna have dinner with the family and tommorrow with my work crew. I think we might even get to see a queer punk show! It started as a joke but I thought it was real and a GREAT idea at that! I mean queers and punk define san francisco!!!

So where in the world am i?
well right now I am in KINGS-TOWN chillin at starbucks... and it looks like im doing work but really i'm pretending to be. My disguise - this blog.

Tommorrow I'm leaving for California and the week before I was in Ottawa.. (Wow 2 places, could I really be INTERNATIONAL now?). Wait and today I am in kingston, last nite I *think* I was in India...

...and its 2006!

its a new year and resolutions are key because they give you a starting point for which you can begin to try to change things about yourself. some of the things I hope to do this year are:

-work out at good life with big jess
-volunteer at bloorview macmillan
-be on top of things at work/school
-use bigger words (in conversation mostly- at least not in this blog-that will be for next year!)
-be more organized
-keep in touch better with family and friends esp. after they all move away after 4th year. or if they move to different countries.
-floss
-pay attention to people better when they are talking to me even if I have absolutely no interest in what they are saying and start to drift off...
-help my mom and dad more
-talk to my sister more
-dance better
-fooz better
-get more sleep.. which reminds me im really tired right now... damn blog

and if things don't work out this month, chinese new year is at the end of Jan.!!
I like second chances...:)
