Live, Las Vegas

Back from Vegas and what do I have to show for it?? Hmmm... seeing that I only lost $60 at the Black Jack table, lost a good 16 hours worth of sleep, maybe lost only a few liver cells (surprised? I didn't drink THAT much and yes you can kick me for that cos every nite was friggin OPEN BAR), I did come out of the city of sin alive and well. And despite all those losses, I feel like the luckiest girl ever...

For the first time going on a 'business' trip, I think I can safely say that nothing compares to this. This could probably well be the best first experience I've ever had. Seriously!!! And for any one at work reading this -APPARENTLY my blog was being read by a fellow co-worker, which MEANS I might have to censor some of the idiotic things I say - I mean, it might even be read by other co-workers and worse, people that actually think I'm "normal" and maybe even "sensible?" - okay so back to my thought, yea I guess for ANY one in the world reading this, I just really wanna say that I had many good surprises from the people I work with... and if it wasn't for these people, I don't think I would have enjoyed vegas as much as I did!

So thanks to Dave- the owner of EMC who is probably going to be reading this as well- I had a terrific time in vegas!!!

long time no blog

well not that long... but for all my loyal blog-subscribers i apologize for the lack of updates... i've been pretty busy these days. ACTually I'm sitting right in the middle of a meeting! HAH! Trying to control my facial expression so ppl think that I'm hard at work taking notes on my laptop when in fact I am writing this blog! oohhh its hard to keep this straight serious look..

okay too much effort mentally, physically and psychologically. im outta here!!!

The weekend passes and I'm back at work once again...

Today is slow. But I found out that my hockey team was doing really well. Last week I heard we were like 2nd and now we are ranked 5th. That kinda made the day a little more interesting. Other than that, there's a lot of work to be done and not enough jenn-attention to do it!

It's funny how the first thing that everyone (myself INcluded) asks here is "How was your Thanksgiving?" Or "How was your long weekend?". Honestly, you would think I am just asking these generic questions out of being polite but really I actually kinda DO care... Or maybe it's just because the work conversations don't go as far as - well...work - and maybe if your popular- the new coffee machine. That being said, Thanksgiving conversations are pretty enlightening.

Damn, shouldn't have stayed up till 2 last nite... but then again my whole weekend was basically nocturnal. Sleep at 4 and waking up at 11... I miss that. But the chromeo video looks friggin awesome (thats why i was up so late). I can't wait till it's done and I can post it somewhere and share it with all the rest of you!!

Overall, the weekend made me miss my vm, sh, jc and jc (the Doggies of the Dogghouse). Also biggie, uy and sads...and the rest of the k-town crew... names not needed cos really there would be just too many! Well, if any of you are reading... im at work and i miss ya!!!

home, sick

Today I felt sick so I stayed home. I went to the doctor (finally! i can be so stubborn sometimes) and I knew exactly what he would tell me. My DR is pretty cool tho. He always writes me the prescription in the end. I guess he knows that after waiting for 1hr to see him (my appt was at 12:30 - I finally finished my 5 min appt at 1:30!!), that I should leave with something!! haha. I guess that and the fact that he knows I'm not some druggie that comes rolling in for pills every week. I don't know how much of this Pondocillin stuff I would take anyways. I think I can get better with just resting and water. Plus he told me I shouldn't even finish it all - again this is why I totally suspect that I didn't even NEED to see the doctor in the first place!

I think I can totally just take care of myself and be better by the weekend... I just need to stay in bed with my laptop. That actually sounds very... not boring!

no longer an orphan

I have a family at last!!

Last nite my parents came back from their 3 week excursion to china/hongkong.

It's great to finally see them again and to have them back in my house - yes it is MY house now- after 3 weeks of living alone and holding down the fort, I think I've reclaimed my role...

Their trip seemed to go by real well... I kept asking them for funny stories but I think they were too tired to remember any. Actually I hope they were too tired to remember cause to think that they had no funny stories would just mean that they had a sucky trip and NO ONE wants that!

This morning I had coffee with my dad. He told me some good news and some bad news. I like having coffee with my dad. I think he likes having coffee with me too.

Now I am at work. Busying myself with checking me-mail (thats my email for short- I invented this word just now so don't try to steal it but if you like feel free to circulate it, it seems like a good new word) and writing blah blah blogs....

Life is good, foozball game is improving and everything is back to normal again. :)

tired and uninspired

oh what a weekend it has been.... friday shooting a music video and drinking waay too much while doing it, saturday getting stranded at home but then going to see my cousins (and new born baby) and going to a luau to watch Jackie pick up boys, sunday running a 5 K marathon with the latinas and now being on the computer for another 3 hours uploading, playing msn games, webcamming and blogging...

I am soo tired. I really wanted to edit this music video too!! The song we did it too was Chromeo's Needy girl. It was cool cos before I even saw the video I decided to use the mirror effect while filming! Then when I actually saw it, they also had MIRROR STUFF!!
WOWOWOWOW.

I think I better go to sleep before I burn out....

oh Genie! I wish for a magic button to open the garage door!

Friggin garage door won't open.
Both cars inside garage.
Jenn inside house.
... going crazy....

(btw genie is the name of the garage door opener company)
